A little about Me, a little about Ella
I am really hoping that this pressure in my skull is not a sinus infection. I really do not want to fork over $60.00 to be told one way or the other by the doctor. I will just keep taking my sinus tablets and pray the pressure ends soon. I think I am driving everyone around me crazy (including myself) with this coughing. I.do.not.like.to.be.sick.
I had a great evening Wednesday. My friend, Marylu and I went to the co-op and to dinner. There are few people in my life that I feel really get me. You know, kindred spirits(thanks Anne of Green Gables). Marylu is one of those special friends. She understand my depth and listens to me with soul understanding. From all appearances we are very different people. She is a 48 year old African American woman who has no children and has been married for 2 years. I met her while I was still working and we had an almost immediate connection. We are both glad that God placed us in each others paths. It is awesome to see how God reveals himself to us through others. It is always a refreshing and real time when we are together. Love it. Marylu helps me to see who I am. I hope I do that for her too. It is a special thing.
The kids that I babysat this year (their parents are teachers- so I do not have them this summer) came by to drop off the last payment and also gave me a $50.00 gift card to William Sonoma! I am stoked! I am going to go to the website after this and shop!
I have plane tickets to visit my parents next week. I am really excited. The plane trip is only 1 hour, so I am not too worried about Ella.
My mom sent a cute little watering can for Ella and I bought her a little baby pool today, but I do not think we will use them because it is cool today, in the 60's, and it may rain. Hopefully the weekend will be warm.
Other Ella updates:
She likes to carry things around in her mouth. She picks up a toy, puts it in her mouth and crawls all over.
Everytime the neighbors dog barks (which is VERY often) Ella says something like "dasgh" (How do you write baby talk?!??!?!)
Her top two teeth are FINALLY through. She has discovered the joy of grinding them.
She jabbers all the time. Today at the store she was talking to the clerk. I have no idea what she was trying to say, but she was definitely having a conversation.
Today I am thankful for:
1. Surprise gifts.
2. Answered prayer- I am home with my daughter. I have prayed for that to happen for a long time. Ever since we have been married. God is faithful.
3. Quiet days.

Have so much fun visiting your parents! We are excited to see you guys in July...and from there on out!
I forgot to say how much Luke misses Chad on this trip. He has a comment about it ALL the time. I think their trip in Sept. was a great thing for them.
