Party Report and News
We had a great weekend. It went by fast- and I was tired afterward, but I am glad we did it. My parents stayed with Ella Sunday afternoon and we floated the river- a great thing to do in this 100+ degree weather. I think we may have hit 7 days in a row of three digits!! Anyway- Ella did great on her birthday. She ate her cake and played with her new toys. She is learning so much each day. She has started to sign please and all done really well. She likes to sort and try to "fit things in". She tries to put her shoes on, comb her hair and do lots of other things she sees us do. She picks up on things so quick. Not walking yet-but VERY close. Chad and Ella have been playing fun games. He hides from her and then jumps out and tickles her. She LOVES it and he does too. He has been waiting for this type of play since the day she was born! I wanted to post pictures (which I can't due to some blogger issues)so I will do that tomorrow.
Secondly- I am PREGNANT! I went to the doctor yesterday and she guesses that I am at least 8 weeks along- probably more. I took a test back in June-but have no idea when I actually got pregnant because my body was not back to normal from nursing. Anyway- I have been sick, not terrible sick, just consistent nausea. Don't you love those first few weeks, before you tell anyone? It is this great little secret, only YOU know. (Well, Chad knew too, but, those of you who know Chad, know that he doesn't share in the same excitement that I do over an upcoming change! EVEN if it is wanted. It takes him awhile to warm up to anything new!) I have an ultrasound scheduled next week to get better dating. I like pregnancy and am excited to be doing this again. It seems so fast, but we wanted kids close together. I will probably have another C-section. It just seems safer and more practical, since Ella had to be delivered that way, and we really don't know why she couldn't squeeze out. Our insurance is minimal-so that adds to Chad's worry. I hope he will be able to trust in truth of the matter, IT WILL BE FINE, and focus on the great gift we will be getting in about 7 months!

Yeah!! that is great and how crazy that I am 8 weeks pregnant on Saturday. So, our second babies will be about the same time. How fun for you. Take care and make sure to rest.
Yay! Congratulations! Having two kids is so great--it is hearwarming to see them interact. I'll be praying for good health for both you & the baby! :-)
