decisions to make

The topic of me getting some kind of a job has been floating around our house the last few days. There is a bit of uncertianty in our future-so it may be a good time for me to find something. I have been anxious about it, but as time goes on I find myself getting more excited. There is nothing for sure yet, it may not even happen but the thought of doing social work again gives me an excited feeling in the pit of my stomach. It's like that feeling you get just before you get ready to go to the airport for a vacation, or just before you see a close friend you haven't seen for a long time or the moment before you yell "Suprise!". I love social work. I knew I was specifically designed for social work from the moment I learned about the profession. I remember sitting in a class, my sophmore year of college and thinking, "This is awesome. This is it- this is what I was made for!" So, at this point I am considering something part time, around 10-15 hours a week that would be somewhat flexible-where I could set my schedule. The main reason for me to continue my education and get a master's degree was for a time just like this. I know of several possible jobs that I would like to do, that would meet these criteria-I just need to start talking to people and see what is available. I have let my license laps, so I need to get my continuing education(20 credits) caught up and pay the fees in order to be licensed again, but that will not be difficult. That is the first step though, we'll see what happens after that. So- that is what is on my mind tonight. I may have a job in the next few months, I may not. Either outcome, I am okay with. It will be interesting to see what happens over the next few weeks---
