I have just returned from the Rec Center where I was able to complete a 3 mile run!! I think it's a personal record. I rewarded myself with a bowl of fresh peaches and (fat-free) cream when I got home. I am icing my knees as I type, hoping to get the ache to go away. My body is still adjusting to running.

I have been in touch with my own personal super nanny (AKA Mom), in order to get some ideas and support regarding my precious 2 year old. Today was great, only 1 fit and subsequent time out- I hope tomorrow will be the same. But, if it is not, I have a plan. She will not catch me off guard- I will win!! When I left the house tonight she and Chad were running back and forth across the back yard. She had her freshly washed wispy hair in (to short to even bounce) pig tails, drowning in a 4 sizes too big pink t-shirt - running barefoot as fast as she could through the grass. Big smile, sweet giggles, giant spirit-

I have completed 4 of the 20 continuing education credits that I need to get my license renewed. I scheduled my background check/fingerprinting for Monday and tomorrow I begin the job with a 2 hour training session. I am excited. I am feeling a lot of peace surrounding this change, which is so good. There are so many unknowns and things that I could be worried about, but God has focused my mind elsewhere. He is in this and I am excited to see where He puts me and how He will work out all the details. He has taken good care of me for 30 years- He will not fail now.

I'm sorry that I didn't get a chance to touch base with you on Sunday, but I hope you had a great first week of work. I pray that this week is even better than the first.
