Thursday morning

This is our front yard- looking out of Ella's bedroom. The house is full of big windows. This is Ella's closet/my storage I had to get new tires on the car yesterday, so while we waiting, I took the kids to another library for a different story hour. No bathroom incidents this time! there were lots of kids and Mom's with their babies. So- there is hope. I will find friends.

I am taking Thomas to an Ear, Nose and Throat doctor today. He had an ear infection over the weekend, so I am taking him in to make sure it is cleared. He has still been really fussy. No fever- but not happy. I haven't taken Ella to the post office yet- so we will do that too. We do not have a mailbox at our house. She will enjoy going to the post office to get mail. The doctor is 1 block from the post office, and Chad's office is 2 blocks from the post office- so we may have to stop in and say hi.

It is snowing here this morning. NO signs of it letting up so far!

I have all my scrapbook stuff out, ready to get caught up. I should have stocked up on supplies before I left. I will try to find someone local that sells it.

So far, I haven't been lonely- but I am starting to really miss familiar faces, voices and places. I am excited about going to church this weekend. I think we are going to go to visit the Presbyterian Church this week. A couple from our church have family that attend the Presbyterian Church here- so that is encouraging. The Office is on tonight! Re-runs or not, it is great to have something to look forward to!

So fun reading about Ella at the library. Reminds me of Joy, about age 3, singing in church. I sat on the front row in case she needed help or encouragement(?). She told me -- and everyone -- right into the microphone, "DON'T HELP ME!"
Glad to see how God is providing for you. Your obedience and open hearts make for open eyes. Enjoy hearing stories from your mom. With some grandmas you don't have to worry about bragging -- we love hearing each other's stories!
Blessings! Linda P

I hope you find a wonderful church home. That has to be one of the hard parts. I know you'll find friends! Library story time is such fun.
