Both kids slept all night, until about 7:30am. I got a run in and shower before they woke up-and we had a great day. No fussing or whining! It has been the kind of day you hope for EVERY day. Much appreciated and needed after last week. (Note Ella's dress, made by
Karen. She insists on wearing it backwards, so she can zip it herself.)

My parents bought this hat for Thomas. He wore at all afternoon, smashed ears and all.

I found a GREAT
craft website. This is a project from there. The author has some really fun ideas! I was needing something new- my own brain is running out of ideas. These are tree branches, with crumpled tissue paper glued to them. Cheap, easy and something cute for the table! Ella liked the tearing, crumpling and gluing. I will be a frequent visitor to this site!

So glad to hear you had a good day after such a rough week:)
It's amazing what the power of sleep can do for a person.
When I first saw that picture I thought, "uh oh, I wonder if she knows it's on backward . . ." My mom actually made that for B last summer. I loved that dress, so dainty. I'm glad that CinderElla likes it. :)
I can't believe how big Thomas looks!
I'm seeing more and more of the Sy/Thomas look-alike each time I see a picture of Thomas-it's crazy. not identical by any means, but definite resemblance.
Your kids are so cute Amanda. I love how creative and sweet they are. Wearing a dress backwards...she is DEFINITELY related to my 7 year old. She picks out the most eclectic outfits and I love it!
I love that idea of flowers. That would be a great rainy day project for my daughter. She LOVES doing crafts. Have a great day :-)
