Well, the asphalt crew is the most interesting bunch of men that have worked on our yard so far. Quite a motley crew-despite only being 3 strong.

My video camera, the one I use to take pictures to post, is broken- again. It will not accept a cassette tape, so I can't video anything. This exact thing happened in January of 2007. Fortunately, when my parents bought it for us, they also purchased a 5 year warranty. We are using it! When I called this morning I was told that they were just going to replace it. So- there may not be pictures for a few weeks. I don't like it when stuff breaks. Our printer won't work right now either.

Exactly one week from today, we will not longer have television. We can't even get antenna reception here- so we will have to find something else to do in our leisure time. I may be throwing requests out soon for book recommendations. I think the frequency of our netflix use will increase!

You can go visit here for pictures of the weekend outings.

Ella has started to apologize (without prompting) after she gets in trouble and has to sit in time out or get a spanking. It's so sweet. Yesterday the 8 year old neighbor, Emma, was playing in the common area. Ella stood on the porch and watched her for about 10 minutes. When I asked if she wanted to go play she said yes, and ran inside to get dressed. She insisted on a dress, and pink shoes (because Emma had pink shoes). She ran out to play, and in a few minutes came back in, and wanted tight- because Emma had tights. She pays attention to everything.

So- that's all I've got today-

Peace-out yo--

Julie and I cut the cable here and haven't hooked up an antenna either. We have discover www.hulu.com though, and it has helped us when you just get the hankering to watch something after the kiddos are in bed.
