Just this week my kids have discovered the dirt in our backyard. Ella told me she is hunting for worms. They picked a pretty dry patch tonight, I don't think any worms met their demise THIS evening Ella's dainty white legging, however, may be a different story- we'll see how they look after a run through the washer!Apparently our landlord hid a key under a large rock at the side of the house. At least we hope it was the landlord. Ella was thrilled with her find! The key will have to find a new home now- I am quite certain that Ella will be checking that rock each time she is outside in the near future-
I think this is the most experience Thomas has had with dirt so far in his 18.5 months of life.
Brushing the dirt and "sugar bugs" out of their teeth-
Settled in for a riveting rendition of Noah and the Ark, as told by the Beginner's Bible video series (checked out from the library!)I know that sounded sarcastic, but it wasn't intended to be. they are actually pretty good and Ella and Thomas really like them.
This is a little treat that I was introduced to last weekend at the retreat. Ridiculous. So good. Seriously, if you are trying NOT to eat sugary sweets- click away now, because these are WAY to easy to create and devour.
DELISH!!!!!

Ella's face is priceless. I love that look on her face. Thomas is looking more like Ella too. Such sweet kiddos-can't wait to see them again.
You always were a big Rolos' fan! I miss your candy bowl.:)
That picture of them brushing their teeth is adorable!! Scrapbook for sure.:)
What great pictures and stories. And the retreat sounds wonderful. I love women's retreats.
The rolo sandwich looks great, too.
I have had to go private, so am inviting you go join in if you wish.
Ha ha ha...gotta love kids and dirt. :-) And that rolo/pretzel treat looks like the perfect combo of sweet & salty! Yum!!
