This evening, Chad and I were both in the our bedroom/office- I was working on tomorrow's Sunday school lesson, Chad was perusing his fantasy football teams, and the kids were playing great together in the living room. I could hear them talking and playing- mentioning something about a boat. I finished up and went out into the living room to this-- they gave my plant a major trim, and had all the leaves in the bottom of their boat(a basket that usually hold pillows). I had just looked at it this week and thought to myself, "That plant is looking really nice--" if you scroll back to my Oct. 6 post, you can see it in the background
I tried to salvage some of the "cuttings"-
We'll see how they do- and in the meantime, I'll have to rearrange some plants to fill in that, now, dull space in the living room.

i love it. she's def. got a future in the beauty biz. I love how the kids are at an age to not have to be at their side 100% of the time...but the mischief is higher I think:). I think your plant might still have a chance.
That is so refreshing to see someone else's kids doing the same thing!! Emme cut Owen's hair recently...I was not happy. Your cuttings look good, plus you have a major green thumb, I'm sure it will pull through!
Love the toes. Perfect for Halloween.:)
Your kids definitely have great imaginations! Keep the scissors high up - Livi cut her own hair - she had such a cute "do". But she really wanted it short.
I am so far behind - of course, I'm on vacation. But the snow - already! It's beginning to look alot like Christmas.
wow, you have to love kids and their imaginations.... And wow, on the pedicure. You are much braver than I!
Very cute. E is very into scissors right now. Seems to be able to find them no matter what. I agree about your green thumb...you'll have that plant going again in no time.
