This is one of Thomas's favorite books right now. It competes with The Foot Book, The Tooth Book and Jesse Bear, What will You Wear? Ella worked for at least a half hour getting her little strawberry shortcake doll's clothes on. Alas, after all her effort and patience, she lost the doll when she "asked" me to help button the back while jumping up and down, cry/whine/yelling and shoving the doll into my hands. Precious child.

Chad and Ella discussing the happenings of the day- a little pre-dinner reading. Yes, he was reading it aloud. (Ella asked him to read his book to her.) The shiny soup kettle and a quick hello to Grandma Vicki on the phone provided plenty of entertainment at dinner time.

Looks like a delightful evening. Minus the tantrum of course. But plenty of moments to look and awe over your precious little blessings.....

So cute! My friend's little boy, he's almost 2, loves wearing his sister's dress up princess jewelry --its so cute and innocent. :-) So, after the marathon did you quite running or are you still doing some?

When did Chad learn how to read?

Amanda, please take pictures of Chad when he winterizes the lawn mower. I know that's coming up soon.
