Ski Bunnies

One of Ella's friends had a birthday party at one of the ski hills today. This is the "magic carpet". It is free and great for first-timers. The kids loved riding it up and running down the hill. They had more fun doing that than skiing. We borrowed some skis and boots and Ella and Thomas both wore them for a little while. Ella was more interested in learning how to walk around in the ski's at the bottom of the hill than she was in actually skiing. We will plan to get gear for both of them next winter and maybe begin a new hobby.

We hadn't planned on Thomas trying it out- so he was a bit under-dressed-sweat pants are probably not the best choice for skiing!

We are having early dinner with friends tomorrow-and we have a breakfast at church in the morning- so it will be a full day. I had fun going shopping for basket stuffers today while the kids napped. We may dye a few eggs later tonight-
