Cohort 4

This group is "Cohort 4". The last group of long-term missionaries to join the Extreme team already in Peru. We ended our training today with a commissioning service on a south Florida beach at sunset. We spent time reflecting on the call God has placed in our lives, the days leading up to this, and the days that are to come. It was a beautiful time. This group has been so open and transparent with one another. It is amazing to see the vulnerability and acceptance that we have been a part of this week. I am so honored to be a part of this group. Please continue to pray for us in the coming days. We fly to Houston tomorrow afternoon, spend the night and then fly to Lima on Sunday. We arrive in Lima Sunday evening where we will spend the night in the airport and then Monday morning fly to Ariquepa. Chad and I are both anxious about the schedule for the next few days. Once in Ariquepa we will settle into our host family home and then begin language school.
