We took our kids to school this morning. They are in different classes and each class has less than 10 children. They said the kids did great and they did not want to leave when we picked them up! I got some pictures of them with their teachers. I will upload them when I have more time. The school is about a 10 minute walk from our house. We drop the kids off at 8:30am. Then we walk to our language school, another 10 minute walk. Chad and I are the only students in our class. We have a small break half way through, with a snack and coffee. We finish school at 1 and the go get the kids and head home for lunch. We eat a large lunch then have a nap and spend the afternoon exploring, hanging out with rest of the group or studying. We have dinner at 7:30. It gets light around 6, and gets dark around 5:30pm. It is about 70 degrees each day, cooler at night.
We are fortunate to have an electric shower head for warm showers. We do have to put our toilet paper in the trash can and we do drink only bottled or boiled water. Our hosts boil water for us. We have had great food. Ella loves the bread. Both kids have had big appetites and eat large portions each meal.
I have not done laundry yet. I will figure out what I want to do (hand wash or pay to have it done) soon.

I'm glad the kids were happy their first day of school. All the world seems brighter when they are at peace, doesn't it?
