So- the cats were outside all night, for the first time since the move. Simon was here this morning, but Lola was not. She was found, and is currently at the vet. She seemed to be bleeding alot, but apparently only has several toe nails missing. This could be due to being hung up somewhere OR from a run in with a fox/raccoon/dog. Who knows what happened- but apparently it was the night for foot trauma! I have to go get her after the kids wake up from naps. The cats have never been prey before- always just predator. They may have to be kept inside at night up here. We went to the library again this morning. Ella hooked up with another girl right away. I don't know if it is the area- or just coincidence, but the names of kids there are so unique. Madigan, Talula, Liam, Sage, McCade- just to name a few. Seriously- unique names. It was a fun hour. SO- I leave you with a picture of my toe- bandaged of course. I haven't looked at it unwrapped yet today- didn't think you all would want to see either!
P.S. No one has booked us for Easter yet- You can come hunt Easter eggs in the SNOW!!! Fresh snow is falling AS I TYPE- anyone- anyone???? OH- and forget about needing to buy a nice new springy Easter dress- no one will care what you are wearing under your Columbia coat and Patagonia ski pants, and North Face hat and gloves. All you need is a pastel scarf to make it festive. WHAT AN OFFER!!!!!!

Madigan...love it. sounds like quite a night for you! I'm losing my thumb nail right now from slamming it in the car door back in November. It's taking FOREVER. So glad you have the library, what a great place for Ella to hook up with other kids. As soon as school is out, I'm taking Brek there every chance I can:).
Last Easter is snowed the entire day here. Needless to say, we had an indoor Easter egg hunt:)
Sorry to hear about your toe but oh my gosh - I laughed so hard over the Dora bandaid and pantyliner! How very MacGyver-ish of you:)
Ouch!!
I can only imagine how hard it is to get used to everything new at once - since I haven't done it in 30 years! My hold childhood was moving and adjusting. I kind of like this boring security thing. I really feel for you. I know how much you loved your church and your circle of friends.
Whew, I cringe thinking about that. Toe injuries are the worst!
Nice call on the MacGyver comment, Pam! Very resourceful of you guys!
Great use of a panti-liner! Who would have guessed it doubles as a bandage? :) I love the pic of Thomas with the baggies as I seem to always find my ziplocs all over the house after Finn plays in the kitchen!
Poor Amanda and Lola. I've decided against Easter outfits this year, as in previous years I bought stuff and N refused to wear it, preferring a monster-truck t-shirt.

Youch! Inventive way of taking care of it though. :) So how I found you.... Bridgette is Heather Phillips sister in law (who lives in Yakima, I beleive you have met her before). When I moved to Yakima Heather was one of the first friends I met, and has become one of the best ones... so I know you will find a "heather" sometime soon there too. But I know Bridgette through Heather and I tend to stalk the Phillips family blogs.... long story short... or longer, that is how I found you. :)
