It has been a cold and wet spring. The kids were excited to go out one morning and use their umbrellas, but when they got outside the rain had stopped- so they huddled as close as they could to the gutter where rain was draining from the roof-
Just a fun shot-
Thomas loves playing with the Stockett boys. Here they are showing me their muscles.
PERU
We have a newsletter nearly completed, but it is on Chad's computer, which has not been turning on for the past few days. Hope to be able to access it and get it out to everyone very soon!
The city where we are going to be living has been changed. We were originally assigned to Tacna, but have recently been re-assigned to Puno. This a town at an elevation of about 12,000 feet and borders Lake Titicaca. We are excited about this change-
We leave on May 17th. We will fly to Florida for a week of orientation and then onto Peru! We will spent the first 5 months in Arequipa, the city where Extreme Headquarters is located. In Arequipa we will be in language and bible school.
As far as fund-raising goes, we have been given/pledged about $55,000 of the $64,000 we need to go.
We have a potluck presentation this Saturday night that a friend is hosting, so pray for us as we get ready for that.

cute pics of them standing by the downspout! Did you go to Panda for Easter dinner?
Bridge-no, on the Panda for Easter- we fixed a yummy dinner here.
Fun! Why can't my kids stand still for pics????
It's been so nice being able to spend some time with you guys before you leave....
I love the 2nd picture of the kids-the goofy faces are adorable.
It was good to see you guys tonight. I really enjoyed hearing the whole story since I didn't know all the background. You guys will definitely be on my prayer list. Let me know if we can help in any way while you're still here!
So where did you manage to hide the easter eggs? Not many shrubs in that back yard! =) Travis
