Peru in 27 days!

We have our plane tickets purchased. We leave May 17th- I am trying to be productive this week-trying to get things settled, organized, taken care of--So far, so good. I think. Never done this before! We are. . . well, you name it and we have probably felt it over the past few days. Above all, we continue to be confident that Peru is where God wants us to be. Without that assurance, I don't think we could do this. I can't even explain all that is going on other than to say it is just a BIG deal!

These are some pictures from the last two weeks- Penfold girls(me and my sisters) and their families- Shan and Jimmy came to Boise for a visit, then took me and the kids home with them (to Spokane)so I could spend a week at my parents house (in Wenatchee). Mom came to Spokane to pick us up- We spent a few hours at my Grandma's-The kids had a fantastic time and stayed very busy. they rode Lady almost every night- Held the chickens, played on the barn swing, picked wild flowers on the hillside, dug in the dirt and had a blast riding the Jeep. I am SO glad we got to visit one last time before we leave. Mom and Dad brought us back last Friday. It happened to be my birthday, so they stayed with the kids while Chad and I went out to dinner with some friends. We said our goodbyes Saturday night. We will not see them again before we leave. I try not to think about it, because it always makes me cry- especially after such a fun week. On Sunday morning the first thing Thomas said was, "I wanna play with Poppa."

Saturday was the Robie Creek half marathon. Before knowing we would be going to Peru, I had planned to run it with Chad. But, with all the changes and the lack of free childcare that we had in Ketchum at the YMCA, I decided to opt out, knowing that both of us would not be able to have the time to properly train for this intense run. Here are the guys, after the race waiting in line for the shuttle bus back to the start-

GREAT pics, great memories. What an amazing grandparents' house for them! Thinking about ya a lot! I can't imagine what would be going through my mind if I was in your spot. But God is going to do amazing things in your life, that will only come with obedience and faithfulness.

Thanks for the wonderful update - love the pix of the kids on the farm. I wish we could see you once again before you leave. Wow, it's coming so fast! I know you'll miss being there when your sister has her first baby. But I know that you know you're doing what is right. Blessings!
