Full of Thanks

The last financial report we received showed that we are fully funded, reaching the goal we had set of $64,000 given/pledged! People have asked what happens if we get more that $64,000 pledged, and anything above that amount given will still go into our account to be used for the work we will do in Peru. $64,000 was our minimum amount needed in order to go- and it has been provided! God is so good and perfectly faithful. We leave in two weeks! This is our Peru calendar. We have been counting down the days since October-

We had a wonderful weekend in Hailey. We were blessed with so much love and support- and this!!!!! Several families chipped in and bought us this AMAZING camera and gave it to us Saturday night at our goodbye dinner. There are no adequate words to describe the gratitude we feel. What a generous and thoughtful gift. When we opened it, a friend had already charged the battery and programmed it for us. She gave me a run through and quick tutorial too. Such love from these people! Sitting in church on Sunday I was thanking God for bringing us to Calvary Bible Church. I miss it. Life was good in the Wood River valley and I miss that too. What a great gift for God to take us there and use that place to prepare us for Peru. I would love to be back there one day-

It was a quick trip. We left Saturday morning and came home last night- here are some shots from our time there. I wish I had more of the going away party- but several others got pictures for us- Halle and Ella got alot of play time in Sunday afternoon- Thomas and Chad went fishing with Mr. Trent and Ethan-all the kiddos- Great friends that made the weekend so special- Jade, Trish, Halle and Will-

We had dinner at one of our favorite pizza places, then headed back to Boise with full bellies and full hearts.

This last year and a half are proof of how incredible God can make the unknown to come to be, aren't they?! I am eager to hear of the adventures you find in Peru, both of the heart, and literal "you-won't-believe!" stories! He goes before you! Whew! Aren't you energized knowing that?
