5:30AM- Prayer at the church. The church is a 4 block walk from our house. Chad and I rotate going every other day.
6:00AM- Chad and I listen to a podcast sermon together and pray. The kids usually are up by 6:15 and play until we are finished.
7:00AM Chad goes to the store a few blocks away for breakfast food- bread, eggs, fruit, etc. for us and the 40/40's.
7:00-8:30AM- Breakfast, showers, make beds, get kids dressed, etc.
8:30AM- Team meeting and prayer. We have announcements and everyone shares what they are doing that day. We pray for each other and head out for the day! The 40/40's spend most of their day out in the communities that they have been assigned to. They meet with people who they have talked to before, evangelize, hold events, etc. It is very unique to each pair and each community and they are all still learning about each community they are in and formulating plans. Monday-
Chad and I (and the kids) shop for food for the week. We usually walk to the market, which is about a 10 minutes walk. We buy what we need, and then get a taxi home. I usually shop for the 40/40's on Monday, and for us later in the week. I prepare dinner Monday, Tuesday and Thursday for everyone. One pair prepares dinner another night of the week, and they get money for the other nights. They also get money for lunch each day.
Monday night we eat dinner together and play games, watch a movie or hang out.
Tuesday-
At 7:30AM we meet with Micah and Nelson to check in, hear about what they are doing, ask about how their partnership is going, and pray for them. After our prayer time at 8:30AM, we have a team meeting with Pastor to talk about how the work is going, if there are any big events coming up, etc. Tomorrow will be our first meeting. Dinner is at 6:00PM and then there is a Prayer meeting at church at 6:30PM.
Wednesday-
We meet with Garren and Geremias each Wed. evening for check in. When we meet with the pairs each week, they also turn in a report of their work hours and get reimbursed for transportation expenses.
Thursday-
Dinner at 6:00PM, Bible study at the church at 6:30PM
Friday-
We meet with Kristen and Francisca after prayer time, and then with Joel and Trevor in the evening.
Saturday-
Youth Service at the church 6:30PM
Sunday-
Kids church- 10:00AM
Main church service 6:00PM
In amongst the regular meeting and church services we do paperwork, plan for future events or travel, pay bills, buy food and supplies for us and the 40/40's, communicate and coordinate with pastor, study Spanish, stay aware of how everyone is doing, stay available to help problem solve or talk through struggles, try to raise two kiddos well, take care of ourselves and maintain a household. Some days are quiet, others are crazy. Sometimes we feel great about what is going on here, other days we want to pull our hair out! Chad and I have not established a day off. I am not sure if an entire day off will work for us. We may just have to manage or time well, and take advantage of those quiet days when they come.
School will start in March. I am still not sure what we are going to do with the kids (send them to the same school or different schools). This will change some things in our schedule too!
Sixto, who used to be part of our team, is now working directly for the church instead of Extreme (His partner went home for personal reasons). He is working to plant a church in a community about an hour away, and Chad and I would like to help him in that community. I think he is planning to do a Bible school there every Wednesday, so our Wednesdays will likely be spent there.
So, for those of you who may be wondering, that is a rough idea of what our schedule looks like. No pictures in this post-daily routine and activities are just not very interesting!

I like them. Thanks for the update.
I appreciate your details and the updates, too.
Thanks for the details - you sound very very busy! But very organized, as I would expect.
Hope your parents are having a wonderful experience. Looking forward to hearing about it when they return. Chris in Ardenvoir
