As promised, a post about Easter Sunday. The day started with a lot of preparation. Instead of having our normal 8 o'clock morning meeting and lunch making time at the church, everyone was able to sleep in a little, and then report to their assigned jobs for the morning. So, we had all the lunch stuff here at the house. People came and made lunches, some stayed to eat. It made it feel like a holiday having tables of food out and people coming and going to eat I really do LOVE the busy-ness of a full house.

The lunch food and a house full of great people! |

Shelling 180 eggs! |

Making Easter goody bags for the kids. |

Pastora and Charity cutting carrots- |
Mr. Dennis recruited Thomas to help him carry the new sign and then help clean up the construction site-

We served the team some cuy (guinea pig) which is a delicacy in Peru, for them all to try. Our Peruvians were SO excited to eat cuy!
Thomas too!
It was a full, fun day celebrating a new church and the Resurrection of our Savior. I will never be able to express how grateful I am to be here. God has been so good to me and I am in awe that He continues to pour blessing into my life. There are no words to describe the depth of His love. It will never fail or give up. Thank you Jesus!

What an amazing day! You just seem to be created for this type of life. So proud of you guys. I love the looks on the kids' (big and little) over the Easter baskets. What a blessing.
And the service - fabulous. What a lot of work this team has done. What a lot of preparation you all did. I know the house is going to feel very empty when they leave.
