Spider hunters

signing "spider"-Thomas was trying really hard to figure out how to do this-gathering ants. red biting ants. the little stings did not stop E and T from collecting them to throw into webs. feeding the beast

wait for it...

OH.MY.WORD.HUGE.SPIDER!!!!!We will be visiting the hardware store for spider spray. The kind that kills spiders. Thomas had a bite in the middle of his back a few weeks ago. Definitely meets the description of a hobo spider bite- which we are pretty sure is what my family was feeding this evening. I would never think to catch ants and throw them into spider web and wait to watch the kill. The kids were very attentive-and received a great science lesson from their Daddy.

Now, when I "teach" science, we rescue butterflies out of the pool, and gently watch them pump their little delicate wings until they are dry enough to happily flutter off into the clear blue sky-

AND just a few other everyday shots that were on the video camera-

movie with HalleElla reading to Thomas For some reason this horse ALWAYS ends up hanging here-it is important to Thomas that it be "high"Ella and Thomas putting the silverware away-gathering baby apples from the tree in our backyard

We want to come live by you! However, I could do without the spiders, too. Give me a call when you can.
