Thomas is learning lots of new songs at school.  This is one version of the Itsy-Bitsy Spider.  It translates like this:

"The little spider climbs the stairs, the little spider climbs the stairs

and PLOOM she fell, and PLOOM she fell,

and a curious frog ate her, num, num, num- and a curious frog ate her, num-num-num."
