A glimpse of our "home for now"

We have been in Peru just over a week and have completed our first week of training with our team.  We are living out in the country on property with an orchard of various fruit trees.  The birds sing all day long and we don't hear traffic and horns.  It is about a 20 minute taxi ride to town, and it can be challenging to find a taxi but we really have all we need here.  Our meals are prepared for us and classes are held here as well.  We have 2 bathrooms and one little washer to share between 18 people.  They are working to finish a 3rd bathroom which hopefully will be done this week.  It feels a lot summer church camp!  We are here for 40 days before we move into the next phase of training-

We've eaten outside for most of our time here, but moved inside recently due to rain and some cool nights.

This is right outside our bedroom door.  Ella was organizing the toys when it started to rain.  They are under an overhang.  The kids play here with a babysitter during our classes each morning-

This is the main yard,.  We have our classes on the first floor of the building in the background, the family who owns the property live on the second floor, and the rest if our group on the third.  Our bedroom is in a building to the right of this picture-
