This picture represents lives of abuse, greed, neglect, witchcraft, wealth, poverty, depression, selfishness, loss, privilege, self-hate, domestic violence, prejudice, apathy and entitlement. Our title is "missionary", but there are all kinds of missionaries. What do we have in common? God rescued us. He showed us our need to be rescued and gave us a different way to live through faith in Jesus Christ. We have submitted our lives to His will and leading. We know that God deeply loves us and continues to work to restore us to that which He created us to be. He is changing us.
It is Christ in us that makes us capable of anything good.
It is Christ in us that drives us to give our lives to tell others about what we have experienced.
It is Christ in us that compelled us to this place at this time.
This is a group of people submitting their lives to their Creator. This is my team. These are the people that I will share the next 2 years with and there is no other place I would rather be.
